A listening ear - Jordan Owen and James Edwards at Jordan's barbershop in Shifnal

Jordan Owen, who runs Jordan's Barbershop at the Parade in Shifnal, has an unusual item on the price list.

A haircut will cost £13, a fade £16, but there is also a free option – listed as 'Feeling down and want to talk'. The option is free and offers a 30-minute slot for men to go in and just chat.

Jordan, 26, started the service after his own experiences when he set up the barbershop, which he opened after the Covid-19 pandemic.
