Homes England wants to build 36 homes on land off Pool Hill Road in Dawley.
An outline planning application has been submitted to Telford & Wrekin Council.
A report, submitted with the proposals, states there will be a mixture of detached and semi-detached properties.
House type, size and styles would be determined at a later stage if permission is granted.
The report says: “All new homes will offer a good quality of living accommodation within a generous plot, offering ample parking provision for future users.”
A decision on the plans will be made by Telford & Wrekin Council in the upcoming months.
