Three fire engines sent as car alight on M54

Three fire engines were sent to a section of the M54 where a car was on fire.

The blaze happened on the westbound carriageway between Junction 3 for Tong and Junction 4 for Shifnal.

A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "At 3.14pm on Wednesday, February 1, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as car fire in Telford. Fire out on arrival.
