Power cut hits homes near Shrewsbury

Homes in a village near Shrewsbury were left without power this morning.

Western Power said 82 houses in the Pontesbury area experienced a high level voltage incident.

The company apologised for the inconvenience caused to customers and said it hoped power would be restored by 9am.
