A fault on Western Power Distribution's underground network was reported at 7.02am on Wednesday morning and power was restored to affected properties in the SY3 postcode area by 3.53pm.
Engineers were working on the fault before 8am and had restricted the number of properties affected to 12 by 11.13am.
WPD apologises for "any inconvenience that was caused by the power cut."
