Conifer goes up in flames
A Shrewsbury resident had to call the fire brigade on Monday when a garden hedge caught fire.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to Bromley Road in the county town at around 7.30pm following reports of a garden fire.
Crews said they found a conifer on fire in a residential garden.
A spokesperson said crews extinguish the fire using a hose reel jet.
