Shropshire man jailed for breach of restraining order

A man has been jailed for breaching his restraining order and attacking his ex-partner's house with a shovel.

Scott Kerry, formerly of New Street, Wem, admitted the offences when he appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court, sitting at Telford Justice Centre.

The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of breaching a restraining order, and another of criminal damage.

Alexa Carrier, prosecuting, said that the incidents had taken place on July 15.

Kerry, banned from attending the home of his former partner, had called her several times in the morning before appearing in the garden of the property, in Shrewsbury, at around 11pm when she was in bed.
