Ashley Price, aged 35, of Roseway, pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting police officers Ryan Clarke and Matthew Dexter in the incident on August 5, 2023.

Senior prosecutor Joanne Fox told a deputy district judge sitting at Telford Magistrates Court on Tuesday that Price had thrown beer out of a window while he was having a mental health episode but no injuries were caused.

The offences had taken place while Price was under a conditional discharge order for another matter, she added.

Shakeel Ahmed, mitigating, said Price had severe anxiety and was a daily drinker.
