The Dreamcatcher Children Charitable Fund based in Shrewsbury was started by husband and wife team Ron and Dianne Morgan back in 1995.

Now after raising tens thousands of pounds and having provided experiences for thousands of sick children, including their popular Dreamcatcher Santa Special that provides steam train rides for more than 200 children and their families each year, the couple are ending their charitable endeavours.

Dianne said that after 28 years, ill health has meant the pair have had to stop.

"We have made the very difficult decision that the time has come for us to close the Dreamcatcher Children Charitable Fund," she said.
