Congestion after crash near Shrewsbury roundabout

A crash involving two cars caused congestion around Dobbies Island, Bayston Hill, near Shrewsbury.

West Mercia Police said the accident happened at around 3.15pm on Monday.

They said officers attended the scene, at the junction of the A5 and the A49/A5112 Hereford Road but no injuries were reported.

The accident was cleared but congestion saw traffic queueing back to the A458 junction with Wenlock Road.
