Charity chief gives talk at humanist meeting

The ups and downs of running a children's charity in Uganda will be the theme of Shropshire Humanist Group's next meeting.

Gillian Castle, who lives in Shrewsbury, will tell about her experiences running Omushana, Sunshine for Children, a small charity based in Shrewsbury which helps children in south-west Uganda

Her illustrated talk will include anecdotes and observations from her work with the charity..

The talk will be at 7.30pm on September 21 at the University Centre in Shrewsbury Guildhall, Frankwell Quay. Anybody is welcome to attend, but voluntary donations are requested.
