Air ambulance called after car and motorcycle crash on A5 near Oswestry

Emergency services including an air ambulance were called to a crash between a car and motorcyclist on the A5 near Oswestry today.

A paramedic officer was called to the incident at 3.45pm following reports of the collision between the Gobowen and Gledrid Roundabouts. It involved a Renault Clio and a motorbike.

A Midlands Air Ambulance helicopter was dispatched from RAF Cosford with a doctor on board.

Oswestry police tweeted about the crash, and warned drivers to expect delays, with the road being blocked.
