Fire crews called to caravan on fire in Oswestry

Fire crews were called to tackle a caravan fire in Oswestry.

The incident happened at 9.21pm last night

Firefighters from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Queens Head at 9.21pm on Monday.

Two fire appliances were sent from Oswestry and an operations officer was in attendance.

Upon arrival, crews found one caravan was involved in the fire and spent time dampening down the area and clearing the road of debris.

They used breathing apparatus, a hosereel jet and a thermal imaging camera as they put out the fire.
