The Father Christmas Fun Run was held in the grounds of Moreton Hall in Weston Rhyn by London Marathon competitors, Jody Wilson and Matt Plowden who are running for the charity.

Jody's sister, Thea, was diagnosed with Leukaemia in 2014 and since then Joday has raised more than £10,000 for Leukaemia Care.

Thea, now in remission and who took part in the Santa run has held regular fundraisers.

She said: "I am really proud of Jody for his fundraising."

The head groundsman at Moreton Hall, Jody thanks the school for hosting the run, which saw 150 people register to take part in the event, which included a 2.5k and a 5k run.
