Lee Lucks, chairman of Oswestry Borderland Tourism, said: “We wanted to showcase not only our lovely town at the centre of the area but also how, by taking a day out from town, you can discover such a huge variety of countryside and attractions all within easy reach.”

She said she was grateful the support of members who provide the funds to create, distribute and market the Oswestry brochure and who also volunteer their time to get the brochure printed.

Karen Pringle, OBT Tourism officer also added: “We are especially pleased that for the last few years we have been able to source many new images of the area and town which really give our visitors a true picture of how lovely Oswestry and The Borderlands are.”

The brochure is available at the Oswestry town information centre and it will be distributed across the country throughout the year.

"The tourist industry is important to Oswestry and we are keen to highlight just what a wealth of things there are for visitors to see and do."
