Two rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in lift at care home
Two people were rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in a lift at a care home this afternoon.
The incident happened at Weston House Nursing Home in Green End, Whitchurch.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "At 2.47pm on Sunday, September 24, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident in Whitchurch.
"Two persons stranded in lift car were released by fire service."
One fire engine was mobilised from Whitchurch station.
