Weddings boost for estate
A country estate is looking to take on a new staff member to cope with the growing demand for weddings.
Combermere Abbey, near Whitchurch, is expanding its team to cope with its increasing popularity as a wedding venue.
The estate, which dates back to 1133, is looking for a part-time wedding sales co-ordinator.
Sales manager Naomi Downs said: “Wee are investing a great deal in the marketing of the business, which has led to a huge increase in demand and inquiries about the venue.
“Having worked in the industry for many years, I have always been drawn to the joy and excitement of being such an integral part of a couple’s big day. It also goes without saying that we get to work in some of the most beautiful settings in the country."
