No election for town council in Market Drayton with each ward 'uncontested'
There will be no election for the town council in Market Drayton this year.

In 1245 King Henry III granted a charter for a weekly Wednesday market, giving Market Drayton its current name. The market is still held every Wednesday and attracts residents from all over Shropshire. The town is also home to Muller dairy and sausage maker Palethorpe's bakery.
