Four Shropshire ambulance station closures confirmed
All four of Shropshire’s under-threat community ambulance stations will close at the beginning of next month, it has been confirmed.
In 1245 King Henry III granted a charter for a weekly Wednesday market, giving Market Drayton its current name. The market is still held every Wednesday and attracts residents from all over Shropshire. The town is also home to Muller dairy and sausage maker Palethorpe's bakery.
