Pastry firm looking to take on 70 workers
A bakery firm with a plant in Shropshire is taking on 70 workers – due to a rise in demand during the pandemic.
In 1245 King Henry III granted a charter for a weekly Wednesday market, giving Market Drayton its current name. The market is still held every Wednesday and attracts residents from all over Shropshire. The town is also home to Muller dairy and sausage maker Palethorpe's bakery.
