Authors to descend on Bridgnorth library for day of writer's talks and workshops

Bookworms and prospective writers are being invited to a series of free workshops and author talks taking place next week.

At Bridgnorth Library in Listley Street, five authors will be giving talks on a range of topics from how they create characters to exploring how to create a unique author's voice, at the event on November 16.

Emma Spenser from Bridgnorth library said: “The writer’s workshops will feature author talks, Q&As and music. All are welcome.”

Giving talks will be Irena Szirtes who will talk about her Author's voice.

Dave Andrews who pens the Inspector Probert series will be talking about his latest installment, Bolt from the Black, while Jo Jackson will explain how she creates characters.

Laurelle Rond and Sylvia Bowley will also be discussing their works and process.
