About 200 bales of hay have gone up in flames near Bridgnorth.

Four fire crews were sent to the Chelmarsh area at around 9.55pm on Sunday night.

Crews used two hosereel jets to put out the flames and protect the surrounding hedgerow.

Firefighters were in Chelmarsh for two hours while they put out the worst of the blaze.

They stayed on the scene to make sure the flames didn't re-ignite and left by around 6am.

A crew returned to the scene today to reinspect the site.
