Four further Covid deaths at Shropshire hospitals
Four further deaths have been confirmed at Shropshire's hospitals.
Figures from NHS England show the four deaths took place at the Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH).
It means that 483 people have now died with Covid at county NHS trusts – 449 at SaTH, 28 at Shropshire Community Health Trust, and six at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Gobowen.
An additional 246 people have died with Covid-19 in care homes in the county, with 183 of these in the Shropshire Council area and 63 in the Telford & Wrekin Council area.
Meanwhile in Powys, 189 people have died with coronavirus according to the Office for National Statistics.
