The first Shropshire farm machinery auction of 2008 attracted a massive crowd to Woodhouse Farm, Wem.
Halls conducted the dispersal sale on behalf of the Bradbury family, who have farmed at Woodhouse Farm for three generations, principally in milk until 2001.
"The demand and trade on the machinery was hot, with almost every item exceeding pre-sale expectations," said auctioneer David Giles, a Halls director.
Top price of £7,600 was paid for a 1990 John Deere 3350 tractor followed by £3,900 for a 1985 Ford 4610 tractor with a Quickie loader.
The Bradbury family had many vintage items, which also sold well. A Ferguson two furrow plough realised £250, two horse ploughs made £140 each and a cheese press £200.
