Cow killed after being hit by car near Ludlow

A cow was killed after being hit by a car during rush hour in Shropshire.

The white Vauxhall collided with the cow on the A4117 between Cleehill and Farden, just past Clee Hill Plant Hire, at 4.35pm

West Mercia Police officers attended the scene, as well as the ambulance service.

Police said the driver appeared to not suffer any serious injuries, however they confirmed the cow did not survive.
