Crews cut crash driver free
Firefighters had to cut a driver free from the wreckage of a crash near Newtown last night.

The collision, between a car and a 4x4 vehicle, happened on the A483 trunk road close to the junction for Bettws between Newtown and Abermule. Emergency services were alerted at 9pm.
Fire crews used specialised cutting equipment to release the driver.
