Fire rips through Telford shed

Firefighters were called to a Shropshire home after a fire broke out in a shed.

One crew from Wellington and one from Tweedale were called to the property in Barn Close, in Donnington, Telford at 7.45pm on Saturday.

Firefighters used a hose reel jet and thermal image camera to extinguish the flames which had engulfed the three metre by two metre shed.

They left the scene at 8.10pm

Meanwhile, a metal shed and its contents were destroyed in a fire at a home in Bridgnorth.

Firefighters were called to a home in Old Worcester Road at 5pm on Saturday.

Crews were also called to a home in Hereford Road in Shrewsbury following reports that rubbish was alight.

One crew from Shrewsbury arrived at around 4.20pm to find the fire had already been put out.
