Blaze drama rocks Ludlow estate as fire destroys two cars
These dramatic pictures catch the moment a fierce fire destroyed two cars in Shropshire today.
Reader Liz Matthews, took the pictures from her home in Normandie Close, Ludlow, after an explosion woke her family.
She said: "My family and I were woken by two loud explosions which shook the house.
"Looking out of the window I could see the cul-de-sac we live in aglow and a car at the end of our drive on fire.
"The fire swiftly started on a car parked in front it, causing more smaller explosions.
"No-one was injured but both cars were destroyed."

A fire crew from Ludlow wore breathing apparatus to tackle the fire which broke out just before 1am today.
It took about 40 minutes for firefighters using hose reel jets to bring the blaze under control in the quiet cul-de-sac.
The remains of the cars were still in the street this morning and had been taped off awaiting further investigation.
