Drink driver, 43, caught more than twice the limit in powerful Mercedes in Shrewsbury gets hefty fine and ban
A Mercedes driver who was caught drink driving at more than twice the limit has been handed a road ban and a hefty fine.
Charles Higgin, aged 43, drove a powerful Mercedes C Class in Copthorne Park, Shrewsbury on September 6 this year.
A breath test found that Higgin had 75 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit in England and Wales is 35mcg.
