Tyrie Elliot, aged 28, was filmed outside The Pipe Maker's Arms in High Street, Broseley, carrying the blades, with his lip bleeding after an altercation.

Shrewsbury Crown Court heard how a barman from the pub heard a glass smash outside and rushed to see what was going on.

He saw a man, not Elliot, trying to get into a gate to a property near Spar on the other side of the road. People were trying to stop the man getting through the gate.

Minutes later, Elliot was seen coming out of that gate with no top on, carrying two kitchen knives.
