Telford thief told to pay £50 to woman he assaulted
A Telford thief who assaulted a woman and stole a rug, shaver and food has avoided prison.
Alan Round, aged 46, attacked his victim on June 10 this year, the same day he stole £46 worth of washing tablets and air fresheners from The Range in Telford.
Round of Fellows Close, Little Dawley, was also at Kidderminster Magistrates Court to be sentenced for thefts from other Telford shops.
