Shropshire woman denies she took cancer charity money

A case against a Shropshire woman who denies pocketing £2,700 from a charity fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support has been adjourned to allow legal representations to be made on her behalf.

Sarah Josey, also known as Sarah Wilcox, appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Monday for an update on progress before judge Peter Barrie.

The court was told that two legal applications are being lodged on Josey's behalf and this would need an adjournment to October 27 when the they would be heard.
