Telford Police carried out the raid on a property in Brookside on Sunday.

Officers from the South Telford Safer Neighbourhood Team said they had executed the warrant at Blakemore at around 7.40am and found what they described as "a large cannabis grow".

More than 150 plants were discovered and officers arrested three men.

They said a dog was also found at the property and has since been taken to secure kennels.

Adrian Ballhysa 27, of Woden Road, Wolverhampton, Xhesar Cani, 29, of Alport Way, Leicestershire, and Vito Scotese, 25, of Sewardstone Road, London, have all appeared before Kidderminster Magistrates Court charged with "being concerned in the production of a quantity of cannabis".

No pleas were entered and all three were remanded in custody.

They are scheduled to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on May 17 for their next hearing.

Inspector Dan Taylor of Telford Police said: “Tackling drug crime is a main priority for the force and we are dedicated to putting a stop to drug dealing and the harm associated with the cultivation and distribution of drugs.”
