Man denies driving van dangerously in Telford
A Shropshire man is accused of driving a van dangerously on a quiet road last summer.
Ian Goulding, 56, has denied dangerously driving a Ford Transit on Milners Lane in Telford on June 22 last year.
Goulding, of Lord Murray Drive in Telford, will likely stand trial in December.
He was told to expect a trial some time in the two weeks from December 13.
Judge Peter Barrie told him "we can't do better than that", explaining the court system faces a large backlog "caused by Covid restrictions".
Goulding was represented at Shrewsbury Crown Court by Mr Paul Smith, and the prosecution case by Mr Simon Burch.
