Telford hair straightener attacker back in court
A Telford mother who "tortured" a man with hair straighteners and received a suspended sentence was fined after missing a supervision appointment.

Corinna Hanson, 40 of Woodcroft in Woodside, was given the 16-month sentence for assaulting Thomas Mellor and causing actual bodily harm in September 2015.
And the mother of five was back in court on Friday after missing a supervision appointment in August.
Richard Davenport for the prosecution said the sentence, which she was given in October of 2016, was due to expire on Saturday.
But on Friday a judge gave her a £20 fine after hearing about her "extremely difficult" financial circumstances.
Representing her, Debra White said that Hanson had five children and was expecting another, and that she received about £200 a week in benefits.
Thomas Mellor was left with burns and scars on his right arm after he was faced by three women in the incident in 2015.
He was struck with a bottle, punched and sprayed in the face with kitchen cleaner and was threatened with more violence.
Corinna Hanson was said to have "lost control" as she and the other two women assaulted the victim at Caer Road, Oswestry.
Her sentence also included a rehabilitation programme, 150 hours unpaid work and £200 in costs.
