Garden tools, a bike and vacuum cleaners were stolen during a number of break-ins across the north of the county.

A potting shed at a cottage in Stanton upon Hine Heath was raided sometime between 12.30pm on May 3 and 6am on May 4.

Nothing was taken but police have asked any witnesses to call 101 quoting incident 0257s of May 4.

Overnight from May 4 to May 5, a detached garage at a property in Peplow, near Market Drayton was attacked and Stihl gardening tools including a hedge trimmer, strimmer, leaf blower and chainsaw were stolen.

Anyone with information should call police quoting incident 0235s of May 5.

Between the evening of last Saturday and 2.30pm on Monday, a house in Newport Road, Hinstock, was broken into and searched.

Some cash and two kinder vacuum cleaners were taken.

Information should be given to police on 101 quoting incident 0420s of May 8.

At about 4.45am on Monday, a garden shed at cottages in Tern Hill was broken into and a Cannondale Synapse racing bike was stolen.

Any witnesses should call 101 quoting reference 0114s of May 9.

Meanwhile, a blue and black silent generator was stolen from a building site in Chester Road, Hinstock, overnight between Monday and Tuesday.

Police want any information to be reported on 101 quoting incident number 0277s of May 9.
