Power tools and ladders were stolen in a series of thefts from vans.

Police are after information following a number of thefts from vans in Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth and Alrbrighton that all took place over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Valuable power tools were taken from a Ford Transit in Much Wenlock sometime between midday on Saturday and 08.15am on Tuesday.

The van was left secure by the owner, but police say entry appears to have been gained without any damage to the vehicle.

A Ford Transit in Bridgnorth also had valuable power tools stolen from it on Sunday. Again the van was left secure and no damage was caused.

CCTV of the theft is being reviewed by the police as part of the investigation.

Ladders were taken from the roof of a Mercedes van in Albrighton and valuable power tools were stolen from within.

The thief in this case broke into the vehicle through the roof using an unknown tool.

Police say that as two incidents had been carried out without any damage to the vans, it is likely that the thief has the ability to disable or bypass the locks on the Ford Transit vans involved.

Anyone with a van of this type should check they haven't been a victim.

Anyone with information about the crimes should call police on 101.
