Boy, 13, punched and headbutted outside Newtown primary school

A 13-year-old boy has been headbutted and punched outside a primary school in Mid Wales.

Three young males between the ages of 12 and 15 approached the teenager, before the offender headbutted the victim and then punched him in the face, before running off with the two other males.

The offender in the incident is described as white, of slim build, 5ft 3 in height, aged about 12 to 13 years old, with short, curly style hair, wearing a bright green hoodie with an unknown logo on the front.

The attack happened outside Maesyrhandir School on Plantation Lane, Newtown, sometime between 3.45pm and 4pm on March 8.

Anyone who was in the area at the time or has any information about the incident is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police on 101.
