Family's caravan 'home from home' is stolen from Bridgnorth site
A family's "home from home" has been stolen from a locked site in Bridgnorth.
Jo Haddon's six-berth caravan, worth approximately £8,000, was stolen along with all of its contents.
The site had been broken into and security locks on the 2009 Elddis Xplore were also broken before the caravan was towed through the field onto a main road last weekend.
The 41-year-old was hoping to take her children away later this year in the caravan.
Mrs Haddon, a medical receptionist, said: "We bought our family six-berth caravan in December 2015, our first, after being tent users.

"The contents inside, including awning, hook up leads, aqua roll, waste container, BBQ, television chairs, tables, bedding, kitchen equipment, clothing, shoes, games, the list is endless, it was our mini home from home, probably amount to about £3,800 to buy new again.
"We had been away the weekend before and had planned to go away the weekend it was stolen but changed our minds, decided to do some home improvements instead.
"The site owners rang us on Saturday morning and said that their gate off the main road had been damaged and the padlock cut, a second gate on the other side of the field where the caravans are stored was also damaged, with the lock broken.
"Our security locks on the caravan were smashed and left on the ground, it then was towed back through this field, full of sheep onto the main road.
"You could even see the tyre marks in the grass."

She added: "As you can imagine we are all devastated, my husband and I and our two children, aged three and seven who love their caravan holidays.
"We have plans to go away for my daughters birthday in December and again for New Year's Eve with friends.
"Obviously this is all in jeopardy now.
"I want to make people aware that this happens and the lengths some people will go to.
"None of the others were touched. So we believe they had been on my friend's land to check it out first. As it's got bunk beds it's a very sought after layout."
