Farmers get go-ahead to expand award-winning Shropshire holiday park on Welsh border
The owners behind a family-run organic farm on the border between Shropshire and Wales have been given permission to expand their award-winning holiday business.
Last month, the owners of Black Hall, an organic farm and holiday park near Knighton, revealed their plans to install six shepherd's huts to be used as holiday lets.
A planning application submitted to Shropshire Council stated the farm has been a "successful holiday destination" for around 20 years.
The family had turned to the holiday rental business in a bid to diversify their income in the early 2000s, following the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease.
