Jet2 expands routes to 'stunning holiday destinations' from Birmingham Airport has expanded its flight destinations from Birmingham Airport.

and live on Freeview channel 276 and Jet2holidays will wave off their first flight to Tivat from Birmingham this morning, when the inaugural flight to Montenegro departs.

The busy flight will mark the start of the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest tour operator giving customers a taste of Montenegro by operating up to two weekly services to Tivat from Birmingham Airport until October 31. and Jet2CityBreaks are also expanding their programme later this month from Birmingham Airport, as their inaugural flight to Bergen will depart on May 9, offering two Thursday services until May 16 as part of its Discover More collection.

It will be followed by and Jet2holidays’ first flight to Lesvos on May 26, marking the start of the companies operating weekly Sunday services to the Greek island until October 6.

It comes as nearly a million passengers passed through Birmingham Airport last month.

The April figure of 989,209 was 15 per cent up on the same month in 2023.

The airport welcomed 3,402 flights in the month with 3,374 departures.

Freight traffic at the airport increased 172 per cent on April 2023.
