Lorry driver, 62, was more than two-and-a-half times the drink drive limit on A49 at Shrewsbury
A lorry driver who was more than two-and-a-half times the drink drive limit on the busy A49 has been handed a road ban and ordered to do unpaid work.
Steven Rankin, aged 62, drove a MAN TGX on the A-road in Shrewsbury on October 11 this year.
A breath test found he had 91 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit in England and Wales is 35mcg.
