On May 1, Crowmoor Primary School in Shrewsbury officially joined SHINE Academies.
It is the first school in Shropshire to become part of the trust, which has schools in Wolverhampton.
The school said it marks a significant step in its journey towards improvement and a stronger partnership with the multi-academy trust.

SHINE Academies has been supporting Crowmoor since March 2023 when the school was branded 'Inadequate' by Ofsted inspectors.
However, a recent monitoring visit to the school in May last year found it had made significant improvements, with the help of SHINE's help ahead of the offical takeover.
Inspectors said: "The trust has provided exceptional support. You and the trust have been tenacious in addressing the important changes that needed to be made. The work undertaken to improve the school has been carefully considered and informed by well-constructed and purposeful improvement plans"
To celebrate the official transfer to SHINE and the improvements made to the school, Crowmoor Primary held an open day on Friday, inviting parents and the local community to the school.
During the event, pupils took part in a challenging obstacle course designed to reflect and showcase our core values of compassion, courageousness, and collaboration.

Ryan Horton, Head of School said: "This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our school, one fully supported by the trust and our partner schools. The recent changes at Crowmoor have been welcomed and positively recognised by our families and the wider community.
"Inclusivity lies at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with SEND specialists and external agencies to ensure that all children can thrive in an environment tailored to their needs. Our progress in this area was recently recognised by Ofsted, and we are proud of the nurturing, inclusive provision we continue to develop.
"Many of our families rely on the support that school offers, and parent/carer feedback reflects just how deeply this is valued. Our children feel safe, happy, and confident—and our community sees the school as a trusted partner not only in education, but in the holistic development of every child."
