New pedestrian crossing proposed amid Shrewsbury station area roadworks
A new pedestrian crossing is being proposed for Shrewsbury town centre, as work on the roads around the railway station continue.
Shropshire Council is proposing a new pedestrian crossing be installed on Chester Street in Shrewsbury town centre.
If the plans go ahead, it would be a puffin crossing - a pedestrian crossing with sensors that use traffic lights to signal when it's safe to cross.
