Shropshire town's pride event to return after first year's success
A Shropshire town is to celebrate Pride again this year, following the success of the inaugural event in 2024.
Bridgnorth Pride saw hundreds take part in the parade on June 15 last year that started at the castle in High Town and finishing on the High Street to celebrate and show solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community.

Following the success last year, organiser Huw Rees said the event will return this year on June 14.
Announcing the news on Valentine's Day on Friday, Huw said: “What better day to announce this year's Bridgnorth Pride than the day of love?
“With the success of last year, we'll be following a similar plan for 2025, so meet us on the 14th of June for another day of celebrating our local LGBTQ+ community.
“We'll be holding another parade around Castle Walk, along with some more collaborative events with our wonderful local businesses.”
More details to follow in the coming days and weeks!”
