Watch: Annual spud-tacular event near Shrewsbury attracts hundreds again
Hundreds packed inside a Shropshire village hall on Saturday for the annual celebration of all things potato.
Around 500 people turned out for Potato Day at at Wattlesborough Village Hall near Shrewsbury.
The event that celebrates the humble spud is in its 21st year and is organised by members of the Shropshire Organic Gardeners group.

Residents were able to check out the best local produce. There were 39 potato varieties, priced at only 25p a tuber, and suppliers 'Brighter Blooms' had more on offer including seeds, bare root and potted fruit trees and bushes, rhubarb crowns, strawberry plants, onions, shallots and garlic.
Experts on stalls offered advice to attendees on the best growing conditions for seed potatoes.

Meanwhile, there were potato starter packs for children, tools for self reliance, master composters, herbs and more.
Doors opened for the free-to-attend event at around 9.30am. Hundreds checked out the spectacular spuds, and tucked into breakfast, light lunches, and homemade cakes.
