'Suspicious' vehicle without number plates is seized in Oswestry for forensic searches
Police have seized a 'suspicious' car without number plates.
West Mercia Police said that vehicle had been reported in the Oswestry area, and had been abandoned on the verge of a rural road.
An update from Police Community Support Officer Peter Roberts said investigations had revealed that the car had been reported stolen in a neighbouring police force area.
He said the car had been towed away with officers now carrying out forensic examination of the vehicle.

PCSO Roberts said: "A suspicious vehicle was reported to West Mercia Police on Friday, spotted abandoned on a verge minus its registration plates.
"Following investigation by SNT it was found to be reported stolen on a neighbouring force.
"The vehicle has been recovered for a forensic search."
