Body of man discovered in Oswestry

Officers were called to Chestnut Avenue to reports of concern for someone's safety at about 3.35pm on Tuesday (January 21).

On arrival at the scene, they discovered the body of a man, a West Mercia Police spokeswoman said.

The force spokeswoman added: "Initial enquiries suggest there is no third party involvement.”
