Arson accused appears in court charged with Oswestry fire

A man accused of setting fire to a housing association owned property in Oswestry more than 12 months ago has appeared in court.

Ryan Kempson, 26, of Vyrnwy Crescent, Llanymynech, Four Crosses, faces an offence of arson with intent to endanger life.

The case relates to fire damage at premises, in Castle House Mews, Willow Street, Oswestry, on October 1, 2017.

The property belonged to Wrekin Housing Trust.

Kempson was granted unconditional bail and the case adjourned until February 22.
