Oswestry woman accused of attempted murder of baby daughter
An Oswestry woman has appeared in court accused of the attempted murder of her newborn baby daughter.

The 31-year-old appeared at Telford Magistrates Court in relation to an incident in Shrewsbury on April 22 last year.
The defendant cannot be identified for legal reasons.
She was remanded in custody by the magistrates following a request by prosecutor Abigail Hall.
There was no plea given and the case was adjourned until May 29.
It will next be heard at Shrewsbury Crown Court.
The baby was discovered with serious injuries in the Meole Brace area of Shrewsbury.
The child remains in the care of the local authority.
