Shropshire village left without power after cable falls down
Homes in a village near Newport were left without power tonight due to a fallen cable.

Problems were reported in Edgmond at about 7.45pm this evening.
Engineers from Western Power are trying to resolve the problem, and officers from West Mercia Police's safer neighbourhood team for Newport were also at the scene.
The exact number of properties affected is not known.
