Market Drayton over-60s club raises a toast for Queen
It was business as usual for the Queen as she entered the history books to become the longest reigning British monarch.
But for many people it was a time to celebrate. And that is what members of the Market Drayton Over 60s Social Club did.
More than 75 people attended a celebration event held in the Queen's honour on Frida in the Royal British Legion club.

Olga Trafford, treasurer of the club, said: "The party went very well. We all enjoyed the buffet and the decorations look great. The town mayor is here and soon we will cut the cake and toast the Queen. It is important to celebrate royalty and mark events like this. We really like the royal family."
Anyone over 60 is welcome to join the group. They meet every fortnight at the Festival Drayton Centre in Frogmore Road. The Queen is now the longest reigning monarch in British history, having surpassed her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria's record. The monarch, however, remains modest about the achievement.
Although she thanked the nation for their kind messages as she opened the Borders Railway in Tweedbank, she admitted the milestone was "not one to which I have ever aspired".
